The Technology and Communications Working Group agenda included an opening, discussion on procedures and timelines, explanation of subcommittees, framing the mission and initiatives, and identifying key issues. The meeting would focus on drilling down into each key issue to discuss its impact on operations and constituencies, ability to differentiate the institution, revenue/expense impact, efficiency benefits, resource needs, alignment to mission and timeline. Key technology issues included uses in the classroom, distance learning, CPE, outreach, alumni engagement and recruitment. Key communication issues included internal/external stakeholders like faculty, staff, board, students, alumni and donors. The expected outcome was a plan of action with recommendations aligned to the working group's objectives.
