very neatly. Pilgrims can take rest in these
complexes, if they want to take rest.
3. Pedestrian Routes to reach Tirumala
Two pedestrian routes to reach Tirumala
1) Trough Alipiri – 3550 Steps (9 KM)
• To reach Alipiri, TTD Free Buses available in specific
timings and RTC City buses, shared Autos also
available from From srinivasam pilgrim amenities
complex / Govindaraja Cholutries
• Free Baggage Transportation facility is available at
Alipiri pedestran starting point. The Baggage should
be properly locked, other wise the TTD staff will not
accept the Bag.
4. Pedestrian Routes to reach Tirumala
Two pedestrian routes to reach Tirumala
2) Through Srivari Mettu – 2400 steps (3 KM)
• To reach Srivari Mettu, (which is 12 KM from Tirupati)
TTD Free Buses available in specific timings and
shared Autos (40/- to 50/- per person) also available
from From srinivasam pilgrim amenities complex /
Govindaraja Cholutries
• Free Baggage Transportation facility is available for
Srivari Mettu which is located before (3 to 4 KM) from
srivari mettu. The Baggage should be properly
locked, other wise the TTD staff will not accept the
Bag.
5. Pedestrian Routes to reach Tirumala
• Climb Tirumala Hills without
shoes, slippers, when climbing Tirumala Hills.
This is for normal people, The Sugar patient and
others exempted.
• Chant Govinda Namalu, when climbing tirumala
hills. Which are written on pedestrian canopy
pillars. Throughout the pedestrian route.
• Divya Darshan facility is provided for pedestrian
who come on foot to Tirumala through Gali-
Gopuram or Srivari Mettu.
6. Pedestrian Routes to reach Tirumala
• After Sri vari Darshan, have a darshan in
other temples in Tirumala and visit
Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Alamelu
Mangapuram and other TTD temples in
Tirupati.
• Before Leaving Tirupati Pray the God, for one
more chance to visit Tirupati
