Notes de l'éditeur

  1. RGRA are engaged in both production and consumption of music, and they came up with the idea to use local buses to spread their own music. In collaboration with our partner Do-Fi, and the bus company we conducted experiments where we pushed their songs via Bluetooth to mobile phones on a bus line. The RGRA members get new ways of expressing themselves. The Bus Company gets a new tool to draw commuters
  2. Inkonst hosts a wide variety of cultural activities such as music clubs, theater, performance, film and literature
  3. When BluePromo has been established as a research project it gets its own life beyond the MLL, however when developed further we try to connect it to other partners in the network. One of our business partners, Ozma game design, has developed the mobile game platform UrbLove. With the platform young people can explore urban environments by solving sms-quizzes related to specific places. It seemed as a fruitful approach to try to combine it with the BluePromo system and give the players the opportunity to download media files on specific spots in the urban environment. To try out this connection and to develop it further we also brought in RGRA and through their contacts the youth center “Little Greenhouse” situated in one of Malmös suburbs. In collaboration we performed an experiment where youngsters from RGRA helped to develop a game path in the neighborhood. They selected places that was anonymous for us but contained dense meaning for the locals. The game path was tried out by other youngsters and revealed several interesting outcomes e.g. how the game created a spontaneous interaction between the players and locals. Maybe the most important outcome was that they expressed a need of developing their own game paths and invite others to explore them. In the continuation we will try to develop an open game engine….. Through the collaboration with “Little Greenhouse” and RGRA it turned out that young people often get stuck in their local neighborhoods unwilling to explore other areas…

  5. We want to avoid a situation where stakeholders such as RGRA solely act as “user groups” providing information and testing to media companies. To be sure of long term trust we try to create a balance where all parts gain as much as possible from the collaboration. One way of doing this is to continuously re-connect projects back and see how they can make sense to our user groups practice. Eg. RGRA recently expressed an idea of constructing tourist routes in their suburbs, creating a service and making money from guiding people in these areas. We will therefore explore how BluePromo and UrbLove could contribute to enhance that experience. RGRA also started a radio channel some months ago and we will explore how BluePromo could promote their programs.
