3. 11 Don’t speak against one another
brothers. The one who judges or speaks
against a brother speaks against and
judges the Word of God. If you judge the
Word you are no longer a doer of the Word
but a judge.
5. 12 There is only one giver of the Word who
is alsothe Judge. He is the one who is able
to both save and destroy. Who gives you
the right to judge your neighbour?
7. 13 Come now those who say, “Today or
tomorrow we may go into such a city and
may spend a year to trade and make a
profit.” 14 You just don’t know what the
next day of your life willbring. Life is like a
vapor that appears for a little while and
then vanishes.
9. "Men wanted for hazardous
journey. Small wages, bitter cold,
long months of complete darkness.
Constant danger. Safe return
doubtful. Honour and recognition in
the case of success."
12. 15 What you should be saying is, “If the
Lord wills and we are still alive we may do
this or that. 16 But at the moment you are
boasting from your own arrogance. Such
boasting is evil. 17 To the one who knows
about doing good but chooses not to do it
– is a sin.
