First of all download Audacity to your machine…. It is FREE, and can be obtained from  http://audacity.sourceforge.net Also download the LAME plugin, which you will need if you are going To export your files as mp3 or WAV files. http://lame.sourceforge.net
You will need a microphone. The one I use cost £3 from a leading supermarket chain…. Start up Audacity….

Use the EFFECTS tab to change the pitch of your voice if necessary…
Choose File, then export as WAV or mp3 formats… WAV files can be added to powerpoint by choosing INSERT, MOVIES and SOUNDS, SOUND from FILE and navigating to the file…
