- Thank you for spending some time to see how BirdNest is helping Water and Waste operations with a data service that is making a big difference in those operations. You will see how BirdNest makes it economical and simple to get data from the field, in near real time to a desktop computer you already have. From there you can better manage your operations by having access to accurate data and reporting capabilities that are not available with manual log sheet data.
- Accessing BirdNest from any internet-connected PC or laptop starts with your Home Page. You have a quick operational overview and easy navigation. The Facility tree is an easy way to navigate to any area, district or facility or operator. An overview of every facility you operate is one click away with a detailed electronic log sheet available from those facility portals.

- Information entered one-time at the source without transcrition, redundancy, etc… Data for each facility is available as an easy to view electronic log sheet, where you can edit and save data for each facility. To save it to your system, you can simply click on “Export to Excel,” to open the data as a raw spreadsheet that you save it to your Desktop or other data management programs.
- Using cell phones as a data entry device from the field has provided our customers with a very low cost of entry. Either operators are already carrying cell phones that can run BirdNest, or acquiring them is very inexpensive. BirdNest has developed a number of best practices that enable our customers to utilize collected data in many ways not available with manually collected data.
