What is this award called Small Business of the Month Award? What must a business/organization
do to win this award? They must be nominated by anyone in our community and they must complete
the application for consideration. Once the application is completed, this business’s application goes
before an awards committee of 12 Growth Association members. Each business that has a completed
application is given a score for the following categories: years of service, number of employees,
reputation, community service, appearance, innovation and response to adversity. The business with
the highest score wins the Growth Association’s monthly Small Business of the Month Award.
