Tanya O'Mara is pursuing an Associate's degree in Web Design and Interactive Media at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has a variety of computer skills in programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Sony Vegas. She has created websites, logos, business cards, flyers, and restored old photos. Tanya enjoys graphic design, web design, video editing and photography. She has created slideshows, DVD yearbooks, and artwork. Her goal is to find work in web development and eventually start her own business.

3. Guiding Statement I will never give up. Whatever the challenge may be, I will strive to go above and beyond what is expected of me.
4. Education I completed my GED in 2000. I have been accepted into the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I’m pursing an Associates in Web Design and Interactive Media.
5. Career Objectives After finishing my schooling for Web Design and Interactive Media, I will find a respectable web development company to work for. After getting enough experience I plan to run my own business from home. I will have multiple stores and web sites up and running as a background income. I will also take on web development projects of my own. I plan to use my varied skills to make myself an asset to the web design world.
6. Computer Skills Adobe Photoshop I am comfortable working with layers and layer properties. I know how to use masks. Some of my artwork that I have made with this program are: black and white photos, black and white photos with artificial color added, web page graphics, restored cracked and discolored photos, children's sports cards (baseball cards with stats), changed backgrounds, resized images. Adobe Illustrator I have made flyers, logos, and business cards using Illustrator. I have produced professional grade printed graphics that are being used today in businesses. Adobe Dreamweaver I have created professional looking websites. Starting in Photoshop, creating my own custom graphics and bringing them into Dreamweaver. I have given a business a whole new look and they are proud to show it to their clients.
7. Computer Skills Adobe Flash I have experience converting mpg movies files into Flash files for easy viewing on the web. Sony Vegas I have made many photo slideshows with music and special effects for schools, anniversaries, and memorial services. I have also edited video and added special effects, creating a sports highlights movie. All have been complete with DVD menu and Scene Selection Menu.
8. Community Involvement Community InvolvementI made DVD Yearbooks for the government funded preschool in 2005 and again in 2008. Putting together many photos with other graphics and music. The yearbooks were highly praised and the children loved feeling like little movie stars.

10. Personal Interests I have been interested in Graphic Design, Web Design, Video Editing, and Photography. I love digital art in all forms and am looking forward to using my varied talents in my career in Web Development.
