5. Evaluation Example: Student Page Title Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion Credits [ Teacher Page ] Beginning 1 Developing 2 Accomplished 3 Exemplary 4 Score Creativity Project does not display that very much thought was put into it. Project has potential but lacks individuality. Project is unique and shows a good amount of effort. Project goes above and beyond the call of duty. The ideas are original and engaging. Mechanics and Grammar (If there is text) Grammatical errors appear often in text. Mechanics are the same. Spell Check appears to not have been used at all. Grammar and mechanics need work. Spell Check appears to be the only means of editing. Grammar does not appear to be a consistent or major problem Minimal mechanical/ grammatical errors if any. Organization It is hard to distinguish what exactly the aim of the project is. Organization seems to be taken into consideration but needs work. The end product is well organized but could be touched up. The project is well organized and thought out.

9. Introduction (Teacher) [ Student Page ] Title Introduction Learners Standards Process Resources Credits Teacher Page This lesson was developed with the intent that the students be exposed to other cultures and presented basic information on other countries around the world. It is intended to be a brief introduction to this subject area and does not go very deep into detail but allows the student to have fun while making discoveries. To begin, the students will “travel” to all seven continents via websites packed full with helpful/ academic information about several countries in the region. The students are only required to travel to one country per region for a total of seven countries (Antarctica included as one). At the end each student is required to prepare a final product that sums up their findings. They have the option of taking a narrational, logical/quantitative, foundational, aesthetic or experiential approach to the final product. The narrational approch calls for a children’s book that is very informative, but it would be a fictional story. Logical/quantitative would have the students make a power point basically reporting facts about the country such as it’s GDP. For foundational the student would write an analytical paper about the major religion in the area. For aesthetic the student would create a painting, drawing, comic or collage of what makes the country they picked unique. Finally, Experiantial would be a presentation to the class given orally and could include activities for the whole class to do (should be 8-10 mins). Evaluation Teacher Script Conclusion
