n At APM I was the only designer with a lot of responsibility. I met with clients to discuss setting
up their vehicles creatively and accurately to their desires. I was thrown in pretty rapidly and
learned a lot about a fast paced environment. I was responsible for client updates as well as
execution of their design requests. I was pushed to think independently because I was the only
designer, but grew tremendously in my thought process.
n I also learned a lot about paper weight and production requirements.

n I learned a lot about what it means to be a designer in the real world. Shortcuts became second
nature to me and building work the right way was really stressed. I created, revised and wrote
creative for projects such as logos, brochures, business cards and web banner (to name a few).
I saturated myself with agency/status meetings and updates to better understand the whole
picture of what goes into building long-lasting clients.

PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT
n Oklahoma Christian Softball– Starting freshman left fielder, recruited as a catcher. Participated
in Habitat for Humanity housing projects as a team effort to provide and lend a hand to the
local community of Edmond, OK both in 2004- 2005 and 2007- 2008. I also shared the joys
of the holidays with the local community through the Feed the Children program serving over
700 families.
n Volunteered for the Salvation Army Toy Drive in the Dallas metroplex. Presented Christmas
gifts to nearly 700 needy children and their families.
n Member of Delta Tau Omega Christian service club. Participated in 2005 Annual OC Chili
Cook Off to raise money for social service organizations on campus.
n Organized and Managed the 2006 Kick For A Cause Kickball Tournament sponsored by Delta
Tau Omega raising over $500 to support and donate to the Muscular Dystrophy Organization.
n Summer of 2008 I traveled to Germany to teach kids English using the Bible during the day,
and at night we entertained them with parties to just get to know them and hang out.
