Development of the Compendium of Good Practices
(Work Package 7; Activity 7.1)
• Duration of the activity:
June 2013 – June 2015
• Activity leader:
Gregor Gregorič (SLO); Tanja Tajnik (SLO) – external expert
• Chairman of the CWP (Country Water Partnership):
Martina Zupan
3. Description of the activity 7.1:
• Compendium of good practices will include a review of drought
management projects implemented in European;
• We will explore the existing documents about drought management
across Europe;
• We will also analyse other existing drought policy and management
documents besides DM plans of SE countries;
• We will contact focal points of DMCSSE and Activity leaders of current
project with interview about drought policy and management in their
countries/regions/organisation;
• It is expected that activity leaders will contribute to this
publication. Mainly success stories from WP2 and WP5 are expected
to be described in the publication.

12. Our Idea for Compendium?!
• Max. 50 pages
• Include appropriate activities
• Final outputs from activities made in
GWP ToolBox:
http://www.gwp.org/en/ToolBox/
13. Activity 7.1 – Time frame
• Time frame and detailed content of activity (today)
• Analyse the current status of the existing Drought
Management plans across the Europe and other existing
drought policy and managements besides DMPs from EU
