VOICE COMMUNICATION USING

4. Introduction
• This project pertains to short-distance wireless
voice communication solution based on
ZigBee technology.
• This takes the low power MCU as core control
unit, auxiliary by the wireless radio frequency
transceiver as well as the audio codec.
5. OBJECTIVE
To implement the hand-held device for short
distance wireless voice communication system
based on ZigBee.
6. ZIGBEE?
ZigBee is the IEEE standard 802.15.4.
ZigBee uses the 802.15.4 standard as a
baseline and adds additional routing and
networking functionality.
It uses 2.4GHz frequency.
Inexpensive batteries in a typical monitoring
application.

People can communicate anyone within the
organization free of charge for the call.

9. THE EXISTING VOICE
COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
The following voice communication ways have their application fields
respectively, also have the disadvantages such as the high cost,
big power loss, inflexible networking and so on.
o Interphone voice communication
o Digital cordless base telephone
o Cellular communication
o Wi-Fi communication
o Satellite communication
In order to realize a short distance voice communication system to be
nimble, migration facile, low power loss, small scope, low cost and
simple, for this purpose we are using voice communication technology
based on ZigBee.
