The Beaumont Music Department will present Purcell's opera Dido and Aeneas on March 10, 2008. The opera features the main characters of Dido and Aeneas, as well as Belinda and supporting roles including Aeneas' entourage, a sorceress, witches and sailors. It will include a cast, chorus and orchestra.
