Este documento presenta la información sobre un curso de financiamiento internacional de operaciones de minería global que se ofrece en la Universidad ESAN. El curso se llevará a cabo del 24 de septiembre al 8 de noviembre de 2010 y cubrirá temas como la lógica de la industria minera, la organización industrial, el mercado bursátil minero y las empresas junior. El objetivo del curso es explicar el funcionamiento de la minería global y trabajar con modelos y casos para que los estudiantes puedan proponer proyectos

CURSO : “FINANCIAMIENTO INTERNACIONAL DE
OPERACIONES DE MINERÍA GLOBAL”

OBJETIVO GENERAL
Hacer un recorrido holístico por el funcionamiento de la minería a nivel global
entendiendo su aspecto geológico, minero, comercial, bursátil y organizacional.
Trabajar modelos y casos de éxito para que los alumnos planteen proyectos y retos
en el futuro en el rubro minero como foco de desarrollo económico regional.
METODOLOGÍA
Se dictarán clases magistrales con presentaciones sobre los temas de cada una de
las sesiones. Se entregará previamente a los alumnos todas las direcciones web del
material de consulta y es deber del alumno revisar los contenidos correspondientes
antes de cada sesión. El profesor incluirá tareas para la siguiente sesión en
cualquier momento.
EVALUACIÓN
La evaluación será como sigue:
1. Controles de lectura y preguntas. 40 %
Serán 8 controles, contaran solo 5
2. Intervenciones 20%
El instrumento de medida será los correos con preguntas que deberán ser de
un número mayor de 3 por persona.
3. Trabajo Final 40%
El trabajo final será desarrollado en grupos de 2 personas y se expondrán en
10 minutos durante la última sesión.
El trabajo seguirá el formato de un memorándum ejecutivo que se coloca
sobre un tema definido respecto a la regulación, a la oportunidad de
inversión, al seguimiento de uno o un paquete de stocks.

Objetivo:
El objetivo de la sesión es familiarizar al participante con la estructura
general sobra la que se desarrolla la actividad minera en el mundo,
especialmente en el Perú y Colombia. Además de la familiarización de
las restricciones geológicas que guían la extracción y procesamiento
de sustancias minerales llevara a entender mejor la organización de
la industria.
