• BBFC is a non-governmental organization that is not funded by
the government. Their job is to stop and prevent people from
watching inappropriate movies that are not in their age limits. It
was founded my the film industry and are responsible for national
classification and censorship of films in the UK.
• They also make sure that people are watching things according to
their age range.
U stands for universal which means it’s for 4 years old and older.Those type of
movies are adventure and family films, that way everyone could all watch and
enjoy it. Films such as Chugginton,Thomas and Friends are the type of movies
and programmes that avoid sexual scenes, threat and inappropriate language.
PG, is for a general audience, but there may be some scenes that aren’t
exactly suitable for the young viewers.That’s why children need permission
from their parents so that they could watch it. But some of the PG movies
may have some words that children aren’t meant to say but, it would be in a
whole different context. For example “Holy shit!” they would say “Oh crap!”.
They make sure that the language is kept low as a minimum.
12 rated movies, you have to be 12 or older, mainly because there are
some strong language in some scenes or parts of the movie. For some
children if they aren’t allowed to watch a movie they can always be
accompanied by an adult.
No-one that’s under the age of 15 is allowed to watch 15 rated movies.They usually
contain strong language and some sexual scenes, it also contains a lot of nudity that
is sort of appropriate for 15 year olds to watch.
There are also some sexual scenes that can be shown as well as sex scenes that
usually last for a long time. the reason why all movies are age rated is depending on
what they have learnt and seen so far in school and in life.There are also many
violent scenes but, it doesn’t have a main focus on the pain, they usually use or have
flashing images, which is generally shown without dialogue.
Rated 18 movies are targeted at young adult/adults.Which means there are
a lot of sexual content and references, depending on the genre of movie
“Annabelle” there may be some blood and gore or psychological activities
involved.
They don’t have a limit of sexual scenes or strong languages such as (f***,
s***). They also involve horror, blood and gore, real sex.There also includes
discriminatory themes, racism due to true stories that have been made in
the UK or in US.

  • 2. • BBFC is a non-governmental organization that is not funded by the government. Their job is to stop and prevent people from watching inappropriate movies that are not in their age limits. It was founded my the film industry and are responsible for national classification and censorship of films in the UK. • They also make sure that people are watching things according to their age range.
  • 3. U stands for universal which means it’s for 4 years old and older.Those type of movies are adventure and family films, that way everyone could all watch and enjoy it. Films such as Chugginton,Thomas and Friends are the type of movies and programmes that avoid sexual scenes, threat and inappropriate language.
  • 4. PG, is for a general audience, but there may be some scenes that aren’t exactly suitable for the young viewers.That’s why children need permission from their parents so that they could watch it. But some of the PG movies may have some words that children aren’t meant to say but, it would be in a whole different context. For example “Holy shit!” they would say “Oh crap!”. They make sure that the language is kept low as a minimum.
  • 5. 12 rated movies, you have to be 12 or older, mainly because there are some strong language in some scenes or parts of the movie. For some children if they aren’t allowed to watch a movie they can always be accompanied by an adult.
  • 6. No-one that’s under the age of 15 is allowed to watch 15 rated movies.They usually contain strong language and some sexual scenes, it also contains a lot of nudity that is sort of appropriate for 15 year olds to watch. There are also some sexual scenes that can be shown as well as sex scenes that usually last for a long time. the reason why all movies are age rated is depending on what they have learnt and seen so far in school and in life.There are also many violent scenes but, it doesn’t have a main focus on the pain, they usually use or have flashing images, which is generally shown without dialogue.

Rated 18 movies are targeted at young adult/adults.Which means there are a lot of sexual content and references, depending on the genre of movie “Annabelle” there may be some blood and gore or psychological activities involved. They don’t have a limit of sexual scenes or strong languages such as (f***, s***). They also involve horror, blood and gore, real sex.There also includes discriminatory themes, racism due to true stories that have been made in the UK or in US.
