computer games industry and was notable for promoting
the designers and programmers responsible for its
games. Electronic Arts is the world's third-largest gaming
company by revenue after Nintendo and Activision
Blizzard.

Battlefield, Need for Speed, The Sims, Medal of
Honor, Command & Conquer, as well as newer franchises
such as Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Army of
Two and Star Wars: Knights of the Old
Republic, produced in partnership with Lucas Arts. EA
also owns and operates major gaming studios, Tiburon in
Orlando, EA Canada in Burnaby, Bio Ware in Edmonton
as well as Montreal and DICE in Sweden.

of their individual effects. For example games such as
spider man as it is a well known movie, clothing and toys
helps promote it.
• In the game GTA there are well known people used in the
game which also helps to promote it. For example lil
Wayne, kanye west etc. however permission needs to be
asked before using them as characters

• Computer games are linked to advertising and marketing
as the game needs to be advertised in order to get buyers
for the new game for example GTA.
• Computer game is linked to the music industries as music
is used to entertain the game players whilst playing the
game.
