Fracking sand used in New Brunswick are known to contain radioactive beads.
Fracking Sand Spill in NB in 2006:

Nova Scotia should stop handling hydraulic
fracturing waste from New Brunswick (and
elsewhere).
Legislated ban on hydraulic fracturing in
all of the Atlantic Provinces.
Investment in energy conservation,
sustainable transportation options, and
community based renewable energy
sources moving towards a sustainable
healthy economy.
