Phase one is a Lifestyles Center with a main street appeal featuring an eclectic collection of street facing facades, and a central plaza with fountains and landscaping that functions as a gathering area. Client : Stone Brothers Stockton, California Project Description : Architectural design services to reposition an outdated shopping center with an upgraded the street facing façade and create new entrances of Craftsman design, detailed with heavy timber, stonework, and a color palette of earth tones. Client : St. Joseph Health System Orange, California Project Description : Architectural, interior design and medical planning services for the interior remodel and entrance upgrades of the 3-level Emergency Department including trauma center, intensive care unit, treatment rooms, and related support spaces, waiting rooms, restrooms, and design of a new patient drop-off area with a monumental steel and glass entry canopy; completed in 2009. Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital is home to the region's Level II Trauma Center serving the entire Coastal Valleys area, including Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake counties, as well as coastal Marin County. Client : New York-Presbyterian Hospital New York, New York Project Description : Architectural design services for a three-story, 225-bed acute care community hospital in the Inwood neighborhood of upper Manhattan at the confluence of the Harlem and Hudson Rivers and the Spuyten Duyvil Creek. The 345,000 sq. ft. hospital is situated on a 9-acre parcel and includes emergency department, operating rooms, patient rooms, exam rooms, diagnostic center, nurse stations, doctors offices, waiting areas and related spaces, surface parking and landscaping; completed in 1988. Client : Ayala Land Company Makati City, Philippines Project Description : Architectural and interior design services to develop the headquarters for the Philippines Stock Exchange with trading floor, management offices and board room in a three-story pavilion adjacent to the Ayala Tower One. Client : Bank of New York (formerly Irving Trust Company) New York, New York Project Description : Architectural design services for a banking operations center featuring a 60-ft. wide atrium that divides the structure into two separate office floor plates of 23- and 16-stories, respectively, interconnected with foot bridges from the elevator core to the office floors. The building has a prominent stepped roof supported by rows of open trusses forming a large rooftop cafeteria and lounge area; completed in 1983. Total Area: 1,156,000 sq. ft.
Client : Merrill Lynch New York, New York Project Description : Programming and interior design services for brokerage operations on 34-floors consolidating all financial operations into a single tower of the World Financial Center; featuring executive suites, corporate board room, trading floors, administrative offices, conference rooms, computer operations center, kitchen and dining facilities; completed in 1985. Client : National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Project Description : Architectural, engineering and interior design services for the 27-story headquarters of the largest private bank in Saudi Arabia, the triangular shaped tower and adjacent six-story, 400-car circular parking garage sit on a three acre plaza adjacent to the Red Sea. The tower contains three triangular 100-ft high x 100-ft. wide courtyards allowing indirect natural light to reach into the office spaces without receiving direct sunlight; completed in 1983. Client : San Francisco International Airport San Francisco, California Project Description : Architectural, engineering and interior design services for a gateway terminal situated on the prominent entrance to San Francisco International Airport, featuring a monumental departure hall topped with curvilinear roof trusses and skylights supported on a seismic-resistant base isolation system. The five-story terminal also includes ticketing area, arrivals hall, duty-free shopping arcade, food court, baggage claim, immigration and customs inspections, and baggage sorting areas; completed in 2000. Client : Berkeley Repertory Theater Berkeley, California Project Description : Architectural and interior design services for a 600-seat, three story performing arts theater featuring an 88-ft. high proscenium stage with fly galleries and catwalks, dressing rooms, gift shop, concession area, two-story entry lobby and landscaped courtyard; completed in 2000. Client : Ayala Land Company Makati City, Manila, Philippines Project Description : Master planning, architectural and engineering design services for a residential complex featuring two 50-story condominium towers with four residential units per floor, two-story activity center with landscaped roof deck above a five-story parking structure with lagoon style swimming pool, health club, tennis courts and lounge; one of the two towers was completed in 1999. Total Area: 400,000 sq. ft.
Client : Urban Development Corporation New York, New York Project Description : Architectural design services for a 12-story office building with a rounded entrance and stepped office wings set over 50,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail and a 500-car parking garage. The tower is inspired by the rooftop water tanks commonly found throughout New York City. Fordham Plaza is the largest commercial development in The Bronx since the 1950’s; completed in 1987. Total Area: 350,000 sq. ft.
Client : Port Authority of New York and New Jersey New York, New York Project Description : Architectural, engineering and interior design services for a 22-story hotel as part of the World Trade Center complex on the edge of the West Side Highway and overlooking the Hudson River. The hotel contained 825 guest rooms, 26,000 sq. ft. of conference rooms and ballrooms, health club, restaurants, lobby bar, and beauty salon. In 1995 the hotel was sold to the Marriott corporation and renamed Marriott World Trade Center. Completed in 1981 and destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Client : Crystal Lake Park, LLC Orange, New Jersey Project Description : Master planning and architectural design services for a speculative office complex of five and six-story buildings and associated parking structures to be developed in three phases across a 55-acre site situated along the shoreline of Crystal Lake; designed in 1988, but not built.
