You can check your grades by reviewing your Grades tab on the left hand side of the screen.
-Click the Grades button on the left of the screen
-Select User Report ffrom the Drop down menu.
-All Work Due for this Grading Period will be in the Quarter 2 section. (Q2)
-Pay special attention to scores with a - or a 0. This means you have not completed the assignment and
you should do so ASAP.
-Incomplete work and 0s hurt your grade. :(

5. No Microphones, No Problems
Its ok if you can’t get the Voice Board to work. You
can always call your teacher’s cell phone and
leave the speaking assignment as a voicemail.
Just text them to tell me that you're calling. Also
include your first and last name, Unit, Lesson
and assignment title before you say the
assignment.
6. Email an mp3 file or wav file
Also you can send me an .mp3 or .wav file
recording of the assignment. Please title the file
as your first and last name, Unit, Lesson and
assignment title and email it to me.
7. No Worky, No Passy
Some peeps are not completing all the
Actividades Culturales (Cultural Activities), the
Hablar Speaking Assignments, or the Proyectos
Finales (Final Projects). These assignments are
critical as the Actividades Culturales are 15% of
the final grade, the Hablar Speaking
Assignments are 15% of your Final Grade, and
the Proyectos Finales (Final Projects) are like
tests, valued at 25% of the final grade.
8. No Worky, No Passy
Not doing these assignments makes it
mathematically impossible to pass the course,
as you are missing 55% of your total grade.
Please complete those missing assignments as
soon as possible.

vosotros -ís vivís = Y'all live
ellos/ellas/ustedes -en viven = They live

Remember to use the correct
accent mark.
Remember to use estar to say
where things are located.
Examples:
Mi casa está en las montañas.
El sofá no está en la cocina.
La computadora está en mi
escritorio.
All of these sentences are
describing where something is,
or where it is located. Use estar
for locations.

**Notice how religions and
Nationalities are NOT capitalized in Spanish.
Physical Descriptions

Names
Soy Raúl. - I am Raúl.
Son Adela y Amalia. - They are
Adela and Amalia..

Colores must agree
with the noun (thing)
they describe.
La rosa es rosada.

El diccionario es amarillo.
La carpeta es blanca.
Los libros son rojos.

Remember that when you describe a house it
must agree with the gender of the house.
La casa = the house
La casa es amarilla. The house is yellow.
La casa es roja. The house is red.
La casa es blanca. = The hose is white.
