The client had been using disparate accounting systems, viz.
PMIS, PORTIA to address it business requirements.
As the markets have become more complex so have the
transactions too. To stay competitive the firm decided to replace
its existing legacy systems and implement a more robust
Enterprise wide Accounting System on EagleSTAR/EaglePACE.
Also there were other market pressure that made the client
decide to move from PMIS and PORTIA to EAGLE like:

Solutions
After an indepth study of the client’s environment Hexaware
came up with a two pronged solution approach. It developed a
user friendly Reports module to address the needs of internal
stake holders as well as external stakeholders in a phased
manner.
Internal Reporting Feature
As many as 29 Internal reports were developed for the client’s
internal users in areas related to Corporate Actions, Compliance,
Trade activity, Positions Review, Cash Management etc.
External Reporting Feature
End users have the need to access and refer to highly
customized reports. By deploying the best talent on the
engagement Hexaware was able to develop highly customized
reports which helped in faster decision making. The purpose of
these reports was to depict Positions, Portfolio Holding Details
and Summary, Characteristics, Transactions details, Accrued
Income , Percentage of Portfolio/Asset class, unrealized
gain/Loss etc for a single client as of a user defined date.
