Plans Examiners will create Markups on Drawing using the software tools. Each note will be stored as a comment in the database, and will be listed for the applicants to easily see all the comments made. This will reduce a significant amount of time since applicants won’t have to go through each sheet looking for all the comments.
Clicking on the comment take them directly to the file/page of the plan and the specific location of the markup!!! No longer will the applicant have to go through each and every page to find the comments that were made.We expect Huge savings in time to find the comments/pages.Initial Review is completed, the applicant prepares plan revisions.Applicant will have detailed Resubmit workflow tasks that must completed before they are allowed to upload their revised drawings and documents. Once revised, the files are uploaded again by the Applicant, and ePlans automatically assigns versions to the revised files. So we will always know the current version and have record of the original plans.Plus, only those sheets that have changes will be identified for revision review.
Once the plans are uploaded, the project will be assigned to a Project Leader for the Plans Examiners.Plans Examiners will create Markups on Drawing using the software tools. Each note will be stored as a comment in the database, and will be listed for the applicants to easily see all the comments made. This will reduce a significant amount of time since applicants won’t have to go through each sheet looking for all the comments.A very useful feature of the ProjectDox is the “Overlay Compare” mode. The product can identify differences between the old and newer versions of the plans.Red lines will show the features on the plan that were deleted.Green lines show the those features that were added. This will significantly improve the plan revision review processes.Examiners can quickly determine if changes were made to reflect their comments.Clicking on comments, zoom to the location, and check the changes.Plus this will highlight ANY changes made to the plan that may have been made during the revision process. This will help the Examiners in reviewing new versions to check any new changes that may have been made by the applicant. Here they moved the doors to the interior room, but moved the doors to accommodate a receptionist. This will require a new review by Plans examiners.
