6. Acceptable to God “Acceptable” – Greek adjective “euprosdektos” which means easily acceptable, pleasant, welcome,
7. “Spiritual” is the Greek adjective “pneumatikos”, having to do with the divine spirit, caused by or filled with the divine spirit.
8. “Offering” is the Greek verb “anaphero”, means to offer as a sacrifice, offer up. We deliberately and consciously offer up to God our worship.
9. “Sacrifices” is the Greek noun “thusia”, that which is offered as a sacrifice, offering. In the old testament the priest offered cattle, sheep, goats, bird, grain, incense etc. But in the New Testament the offerings are spiritual, from the heart.
10. To worship God is our highest calling ; nothing that we can do pleases God more.

13. The word most often used in the New Testament for worship (66 times in all) is the Greek word “proskuneo”, which can be translated to mean “to come towards a kiss”.
