7. Primark, Dunfermline, Scotland
Façade Rehabilitation & Structural Defect Repairs
The façade works include the realignment and
structural re-fixing of existing precast concrete
panels, concrete repairs and the application of a
new insulated render system to all building
elevations to improve the appearance and
thermal performance of the Primark store.

Restoration of Grade II Listed Architectural Elements
The demounting, secure
transportation and off-site
refurbishment & subsequent re-fitting

“10 Trinity Square is one of the most iconic Grade II* listed buildings in London and indeed is
of national importance given its history of being the first headquarters of the Port of London
Authority. The original design was approved in 1912 and exactly 100 years later we have
embarked on securing its next century as one of the Capital’s finest hotels and residence
developments. The scheme restores the original plan form which was lost in the blitz, and creates
a dynamic courtyard space which serves as the public heart of the hotel.”

Façade Restoration & Structural Defect Repairs
Our flagship project comprising over 300 street
front metres of 5 storey elevations.
The façade works included cleaning, re-
pointing, stone restoration, sealing, lead
work, window restoration & specialist stone
fabrication.
Internal works included stabilisation and repair
of the buildings structure.

Façade Restoration & Structural Defect Repairs
The façade works include Rotec cleaning, re-
pointing, stone cladding restoration, sealing &
window restoration & sealing.
Internal works included stabilisation and repair
of the buildings structure. RBR also carried
out internal fit out works - Partitions, Ceilings
and Decoration

11. Penneys, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
Façade Structural Stabilisation & Restoration
The façade works include cleaning, re-pointing of
the brick and stone, stone restoration, sealing and
window restoration.
The façade was stabilised to the building by tying it
by structural steel installed in the floors of the
building.
The parapet balustrade was dismantled and
reconstructed with new lead work installed as
appropriate.

Building Façade & Terrazzo Stair Restoration
The façade works include Stone cleaning,
Stone polishing, painting the facade and
window restoration.
Internally RBR carried out the restoration of
the Terrazzo Stairs.

13. Blarney Castle
Façade Restoration Project
Façade works included, cleaning, re-
pointing, stone restoration, stone
carving, sealing and replacement lead work.
RBR also installed drainage and green roof
technology.
All work carried out on a live tourist facility.

14. St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral
Façade Restoration Project
The façade works included, cleaning, re-pointing,
stone restoration, stone carving, sealing,
replacement lead work, window restoration &
specialist stone fabrication .
Erection and management of a 78m high access
scaffold at this live major tourist venue was also
required.

15. Ballinderry Period House
Building Envelope Restoration Project
The façade works included, cleaning, re-
pointing, lime render, weather
sealing, replacement lead work, window
restoration & specialist stone fabrication.
Roof restoration works were also included in
the scope of works.

Building Envelope Restoration Project
The façade works included, cleaning, re-
pointing, lime render, weather

The construction of a new limestone gate
entrance was also included in the scope of
works.

17. Kilkenny Courthouse, Kilkenny
Façade Stonework & Lead work Restoration
The project involved the restoration and
refurbishment of the existing Courthouse
building envelope dating from 1792, including
façade restoration to the building's classical
austerity.
The parapet balustrade was dismantled and
reconstructed with new lead work installed as
appropriate.

18. Supernova, Ballincollig, Cork
New Build Family Entertainment Centre
As Main Contractor, RBR were responsible for
the structural modifications and interior fit out
of this two storey / 20,000 sq. ft. childrens play
and activity centre.
The works included alterations to the main
building and the addition of sports changing
facilities and the fit out of the childrens play
area and visitor café.

19. Fitzgeralds Menswear, Patrick St., Cork
Refurb & Fit Out of High Street Retail Unit
As Main Contractor, RBR carried out the
extension, structural modification and fit out
works including the installation of a new lift
shaft in a live retail environment.
Critical tasks include micro piling under the raft
ground floor slab of the extension, construction
of a new roof, structural upgrade of floors and
fire regs compliance.

20. Elgin Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin
Refurbishment of Victorian Residence
Full hard & soft strip out and refurbishment of this
period dwelling.
• Structural timber in floors and roof examined and
repaired/replaced as necessary.
• Plumbing and electrical services were installed to
include features such as the smart homes
system.
• Windows were replaced with timber clad
aluminium.
• Walls were re-plastered and each room was fitted
out with new cornices and walnut joinery.
• Bathrooms were refitted with contemporary white
sanitary ware and a marble finish was installed on
the floors and walls.
