Addition is a mathematical
operation that represents combining
collections of objects together into a
larger collection. It is signified by
the plus sign (+).
Other names for
 Addition
 are Sum, Plus, Incre
 ase, Total

And the numbers to
be added together are
called the "Addends"
•To do addition you need to
    be able to count.
•Counting is the same as
    adding 1.
•Here’show:•0+1=1
•1+1=2
•2+1=3
•3+1=4
•Andsoon
For example:
 in the picture on the
right, there are 3 + 2
apples. Meaning three
apples and two other
apples which is the
same as five apples.
Therefore, 3 + 2 = 5.
