1.2 Quy tắc về trọng âm trong câu
Các quy tắc cơ bản :
+ những từ thuộc về nội dung được đánh trọng âm
+ những từ thuộc về cấu trúc ko đánh trọng âm
+ khoảng thời gian cho những từ được đánh trọng âm là bằng nhau
Trọng âm được coi như nhạc điệu của tiếng Anh.Giống như trọng âm trong
từ,trọng âm trong câu có thể giúp bạn hiểu được người khác nói gì dễ
hơn rất nhiều,đặc biệt là những người nói nhanh.
Hầu hết các từ trong câu được chia làm 2 loại :
+Từ thuộc về nội dung : là những từ chìa khoá của một câu.Chúng là những từ quan trọng,chứa đựng
nghĩa của câu.
+Từ thuộc về mặt cấu trúc : những từ không quan trọng lắm,chỉ để cho
các câu đúng về mặt ngữ pháp.Nghĩa là nếu bạn bỏ qua các từ này khi
nói,mọi người vẫn hiểu được ý của bạn.
Vậy phân biệt 2 loại từ này như thế nào?
- Từ thuộc về mặt nội dung : được đánh trọng âm,gồm có :
+ Động từ chính SELL, GIVE, EMPLOY
+ Danh từ CAR, MUSIC, MARY
+ Tính từ RED, BIG, INTERESTING
+ Trạng từ QUICKLY, LOUDLY, NEVER
+ Trợ động từ (t/c phủ định ) CAN''T ,DON''T
- Từ thuộc về mặt cấu trúc : ko đánh trọng âm
+ Đại từ he, we, they
+ Giới từ on, at, into
+ Mạo từ a, an, the
+ Liên từ and, but, because

***Chú ý :Đôi khi chúng ta đánh trọng âm vào những từ mà chỉ có ý nghĩa

Đa số những từ có 3 âm tiết có trọng âm ở âm tiết đầu , nhất là khi tận cùng là :ary, erty, ity, oyr

Danh từ chỉ cácc môn học có trọng âm cách âm tiết cuối 1 âm tiết

Vần nhấn theo loại từ
ĐỘNG TỪ và TÍNH TỪ :
+) Nếu âm tiết thứ 2 có nguyên âm dài hay nguyên âm đôi hoặc nó tận cùng bằng hơn một phụ âm thì nhấn vào âm
tiết thứ 2:
Ví dụ: apPLY - có nguyên âm đôi

atTRACT- kết thúc nhiều hơn một phụ âm

+ Nếu âm tiết cuối có nguyên âm ngắn và có một hoặc không có phụ âm cuối thì chúng ta nhấn vào âm tiết thứ 1.

Lưu ý: rất nhiều động từ và tính từ có hai âm tiết không theo qui tắc (tiếng anh mà, có rất nhiều qui tắc nhưng phần bất

Như vậy đối với từ có 3 âm tiết, chúng ta sẽ chỉ nhấn vào âm tiết nào là nguyên âm dài hoặc nguyên âm đôi, xét từ âm
tiết cuối lên đầu.
Qui tắc đối với DANH TỪ:
Chúng ta phải xét từ âm tiết cuối trở về trước
+ Nếu âm thứ 3 là nguyên âm ngắn thì âm đó KHÔNG đc nhấn
+ Nếu âm thứ 3 là nguyên âm ngắn và âm thứ 2 là nguyên âm dài hay nguyên âm đôi thì nhấn vào âm tiết thứ 2:

Đó là đối với simple words, còn đối với complex words thì khó khăn hơn vì hầu hết chúng ta đều phải nhớ máy móc

I. Tiếp vĩ ngữ(Suffixes)
1. Trọng âm nằm ở phần tiếp vĩ ngữ: Đối với các từ gốc(sterm) mang các vĩ ngữ sau đây, thì trọng âm nằm chính ở
