strategy takes time. If sharing content is part of your
strategy, save time by scheduling pre-planned content.

Activate Push Notifications - Push Notifications are
included with Hootsuite mobile. As well as direct
@mentions and direct messages, Hootsuite Pro users
can additionally subscribe to notifications for retweets,
Favorites, new followers, and when they’re added to a

Use Mobile Assignments - Be a team player even

team social messages and resolve assignments and stay

time. It’s also easy to select and save multiple social
network accounts that you frequently use to the Profile
Picker. Share content on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn,
Foursquare, and more.
Share Pictures - Easily share photos to multiple
accounts and networks at once. We have found that the
best engagement comes from sharing rich content like
photos. From Facebook to Twitter, posts with images
consistently get more interactions and shares than
those without.
Create Search Streams - Set up keyword search
streams to find information and conversations relevant
to your business. Search streams help you filter out
the noise so that you can focus on what really matters,
track relevant topics, and view profiles of interest. For
example, if you are at an event, you can follow the event
hashtag to keep track of all that is happening.
Track User Engagement - Gather analytics from social
media campaigns and ongoing activities, and track how
well your content is resonating with fans and followers.

1. Visit the Hootsuite mobile page
2. Download the app.
AutoSchedule
1. Tap Compose icon in upper-right corner.
2. Type message.
3. Tap arrowhead in upper-right corner.
4. Tap to select social network or tap highlighted social
network to deselect.
5. Tap arrowhead a second time to close list.
6. Tap Schedule icon
7. Tap Off to turn AutoSchedule on or tap On to turn
AutoSchedule off.
8. Tap Schedule.
Activate Push Notifications (iOS)
1. Tap Settings in lower-right corner.
2. Tap Notifications.
3. Tap social network.
4. Tap white circle inline with message type to turn on
or off. Green slider means on; white slider means off.

Assign a Facebook or Twitter message
1. Tap Streams in the lower-left corner.
2. Tap a Facebook or Twitter stream with a share icon
3. Type a message.
4. Tap the more button in the lower-right corner.

6. Tap a team.
7. Tap All Team Members or a specific team member.
8. Optional: Tap Add note, and then enter notes or
instructions.

Use the Share extension (iOS 8)
Hootsuite’s Share Extension is an iOS 8 feature, and is
free to all Hootsuite users on an iOS device (iPhone,
iPad, iPod Touch running iOS 7.1 or later can update to
iOS 8).
To enable Share Extension
1. Tap content to share, or open a browser and tap
Share in footer.
2. Tap More , or touch and drag upper row to
your left, and then tap More.
3. Touch and drag toggle inline with Hootsuite. Green
means enabled.
4. Tap Done in the upper-right corner.
To use Share Extension
5. Tap content to share, and then tap Share
in footer.
6. Tap Hootsuite.
7. Tap Social Networks.
8. Tap to select a social network, and then tap
Hootsuite in the upper-left corner.
9. Tap Post in the upper-right corner or tap
Schedule in the bottom row. Schedule will
allow you to use Schedule or AutoSchedule.
10. Alternatively, tap Cancel in the upper-right corner
to stop this process.
