Appetite Coyotes will eat all most anything They hunt many animals including rabbits frogs fish and deer They eat farm animals They also happily dine on insects ,snakes, fruit, grass, and carrion (dead animals) The coyotes favorites –rabbits voles , moles, grounds squirrels , chipmunks, and woodchucks
6. Habitat Coyotes live in forest park lands. They live in grassy meadows. Coyotes adjust to living near people. They learn to stay out of sight. You may have coyotes living near you. Coyotes live near the tundra regions.
7. Interesting Facts Farmers don’t like coyotes around because they eat their farm animals. Coyotes can run up to 40 mph. It is amazing how quickly a coyote can change direction running at full speed. Coyotes are famous for their yelping howl. They are singing to each other when they howl. They are known to be sly.
