2. The Mission
● I noticed all the pro surfers were making their
own mouth mounts
● I decided to try making something that could
be available to the general public

3. 3D Printing at San Diego Public
Library
● Thankfully, the Public Library in downtown
San Diego offers free 3D printing!
● I took my design there, and made a few
revisions until I had something good

4. Mass Production
● 3D printing is great for prototypes, but it's not
very strong or durable.
● I took my design to an injection molding facility
for mass production.
● The mounts are made from polycarbonate
which is extremely strong.
