2. Its a 2006 film
Directed by Peter Markle
which chronicles the events aboard United Airlines Flight
93 during the September 11th attack.
It was made for a TV film
The film was rated PG-13 for some violence and
emotional depiction of the hijack situation
Mainly focuses on eight passengers.
4. Plane gets hijacked my middle eastern men – speak
Arabic
They lie and say they have bombs' on them but they
don't
Try to fly the plane
The passengers get scared, so the men all try to fly the
plane their selves and try to attack the terrorists
The plane crashes and everyone dies
5. One of the men has flash backs of him trying to
figure out how to work a plane – Shows that they
have thought it through.
Man changing his t-shirt - Shows his up to
something
Men looking suspicious- Wearing red bands on their
forehead

6. There are no religious references made. The only thing that is said
about the whole hijacking act was that one of the men said ‘this is
Allah’s will’ – this can try to indicate act of jihad?
The terrorists are middle eastern men – talk Arabic –this can be
stereotypically viewed as most of the terrorists seem Arab?
The twin tower getting bombed is referenced as terrorism
7. The direction lacks any sense of realism, which is surprising from a man who
made a career out of documentaries. I feel that the producers have rushed this
out to cash in on the success of the Green grass reconstruction.
The movie has no emotional impact, considering that these events brought the
world to a standstill and changed the way we live in society today
Flight 93 is a very poor film indeed.
There were many negative comments made about
the film.
