Key Achievement 2014
KM Unit main focus in year 2014 is on record management practices, as continuous effort to the
establishment of UTP Record Centre in year 2013. Below is 2014 achievement;
a) Completed the records retention plan audit for all deposited records to UTP Records Centre in July 2014
b) Plan for space and storage for next 6 months
Other achievement are on the development of content as ongoing initiative to support library services, as
below;
a) Acquired, digitized and indexed the balance of back log FYP for year 2000-2007 and deposited to IRC
from year 2000-2007.
b) UTPedia widely accessible from everywhere to support research, teaching and learning activities
c) No 3 in local universities Ranking Web of Repositories for content visibility and size (as of June 2014)
d) Achieved most of user's account creation and account updates in 3 working days. More usage of
