Who is this blog designed for?
This blog was created with the intention of supporting
the English developing process of students from level
1 at the Fundación Universitaria Luis Amigó.
This is an special group of students, since it will be
made up of people who is part of our community, not
as current students enrolled in one of the university’s
program, but employees from different departments,
including teachers, administrative employees among
others.
...And the purpose?
The blog will support the learning process by
accompanying the face to face encounters,
reinforcing the concepts presented in the classes.
Through the Blog, students will also be able to review
and practice concepts as part of their independent
work.
What’s the goal?
The targeted language function is describing daily
routines, not only in personal life activities but also
also in job related situations, as well as being able to
describe situations taking place at specific moments.
Which are the resources for this
Blog?
This Blog will include Power Point Presentations on
vocabulary and targeted structures; videos and audio
activities of different kinds, including interviews,
description of routines, and matching activities; The
blog will also include web-quests and worksheets with
activities to be performed by students. Some classic
stories will be included to promote reading.
