One of the key conditions for the effective
implementation of the HC activities was to
understand the health situation and living conditions
in our city.

The elaboration of HC Profile has been divided into
two parts:
1. Description of the quality of life based on the result of
the regular monitoring and statistic data

2. Representative sociological surveys covering both
the adult population and Brno children and young
people.
Sociological surveys provide us with information
about the lifestyle, the needs and opinions
of inhabitants.
The main questions of the surveys were
interconnected with the indicators in the statistic
part of the HC Profile.
