  • 1. Health  Project     The  Project  Brief     • Choose  an  area  of  Health  /  Healthy  Foods  or  Teeth  that  particularly   interests  you.   • Each  group  is  to  produce  a  poster.   • Each  group  to  present  their  project  /  poster  to  the  class.    The   presentation  should  last  approximately  5-­‐8  minutes.       Each  group  will  be  awarded  a  single  grade  A-­‐F     Week  8     Lesson  1  –  Choose  groups  and  groups  decide  which  area  of  health  they  would   like  to  focus  on.    Each  group  is  to  provide  Mr  Stace  with  a  working  title  for  their   project.     Lesson  2  –  Children  plan  what  each  child  within  the  group  will  be  responsible   for.    Children  to  write  their  project  plan  on  a  piece  of  A3  paper,  listing  what  each   child  will  do.     Lesson  3  –  Human  Planet  film     Week  10     Lesson  1  –  Children  finalise  their  planning  and  decide  what  they  will  need  to   research.    Write  keywords  for  your  Google  /  Kid  Rex  search.     Lesson  2  –  Children  carry  out  their  research  on  MacBooks,  recording  the   information  they  want  to  use.     Lesson  3  –  Children  work  on  their  projects.     Week  11     Lesson  1  –  Children  work  on  their  projects.     Lesson  2  –  Children  work  on  their  projects  /  Practice  presentations.     Lesson  3  –  Children  present  their  projects  to  the  class.     All  science  homework  during  this  period  will  be  to  work  on  the  project.     • Project  Start  –  Lesson  1  Week  8   • Project  Hand  In  /  Presentation  –  Lesson  3  Week  11   • Group  Size  –  6  children  per  group.    (Groups  to  be  chosen  using   names  out  of  a  hat).
