Tornadoes form when cold and hot air masses collide. They most commonly occur in the central United States from spring to summer. Tornadoes can cause economic, environmental, and social impacts through flooding, property damage, and power outages. Evidence shows that the number of tornadoes has increased over time, from 130 in 1950 to over 1,000 in recent years, with the highest occurrence in the region known as Tornado Alley. Prevention is difficult but includes seeking shelter on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
2. DEFINITION
Is a violent whirlwinds which star from clouds to the earth’s
surface.
3. CAUSES
Tornadoes it formed when cold and hot air come together
When the clouds grow larges and larges in only one place.
4. EFFECTS
Economic: flooding farmlands, Disruption energy production.
Environmental: destroying buildings and trees, Water
contamination.
Social: food/water, electricity.
5. LOCATION OF TORNADOS
The tornadoes the location is central part of United State this
this happen more in summer.
6. PREVENTION
This does not have a prevention because is a natural disasters, but
for this situation we have to #1 try to put up as many walls as
possible between you and the outside walls of the building.
#2 if you are in a vehicle instead leave and go to lowest floor of a
building.
#3 always go to part where is low: go to a basement
7. EVIDENCE #1
#1 in this map show us how Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado
and Nebraska has been affected a lot from the tornado Alley because
there the cold dry air and warm dry air mix together and cause
tornadoes, there is where the tornado happen the most
9. EVIDENCE #2
evidence #2 is a graph this show us how each year the total of
tornadoes is more, between 1950 to 2008 is more high the amount of
tornadoes in the United State.
11. EVIDENCE #3
evidence #3 is a graph this show us how tornadoes increase over
the year in 1950 the amount of tornadoes were 130, but in 2007 is
completely different the amount is 1170 tornadoes.
12. EVIDENCE #3

13. CONCLUSION
Tornadoes had being happening over the years. My hypothesis is
that 100 years later the countrywould be completely destroy, because
the number of tornadoes are increasing over the years.
