MARS Mars is the 4th planet from the sun. It is much smaller and colder than Earth. It looks like a red, rocky desert. The sky is pink. By Tamati
JUPITER Jupiter is so large that you could fit 1300 Earths inside! It is made of gases and is surrounded by storm clouds. By Lachlan &  Joseph
SATURN Saturn is known for its beautiful rings.   These rings are made of ice and rock. Saturn is the second largest planet.  It is made of gas. By Ani& Usharn
URANUS Uranus is the 7th planet from the sun.  It is cold. It is a bluey planet.  It has rings. By Callum
NEPTUNE Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun.  Neptune is blue.   No-one can stand on Neptune because it is made of gas. Neptune looks like Uranus. By Luke & Lorenzo
PLUTO Pluto is a dwarf planet.  Pluto has one moon like Earth.   It is very cold on Pluto. By Darian & Abdullah
COMETS Comets are made out of rock and ice. They have a tail and they move through space. There is a famous comet called Halley’s Comet. By Stewart
METEORS Meteors are made out of rock. They can hit the Earth or the moon or other planets.  They can cause craters. By Kaydin
THE MILKY WAY The Milky Way is a big group of stars.  It is our galaxy. If you look at it at night  with binoculars you can see that it is made up of thousands of stars. By Jordyn
STARS Stars are made of gas.   Stars can be red, blue or yellow. Stars can die and when they die they don’t glow. There are millions of stars in the Universe. By Abby
BLACK HOLES Black Holes can suck planets up. They can even suck up rocks and stars. By Jakab
ASTEROIDS Asteroids are big hunks of rock in space. Asteroids are large rocks that orbit the sun. By Emily
