I gave this presentation to the IGDA NYC chapter October 27, 2009 to synthesize a lot of the downward trends in the casual PC game market, brought on a great deal by the explosive inroads Facebook is making into the casual game demographic. The main idea: developers who have been in or considering working in the casual download game market might want to think about switching to develop on the fast-growing Facebook platform.
