the city, thus authorities have consistently providing tourists with
attractive travel packages and offers
• Attempts have been made to include more events to attract
tourists through out the year- Malta’s Isle of MTV and Bristol’s
Slapstick Festival
• Promotion of local cultural events has been done to attract
tourists- Village Festas (Malta) and Folk Festival (Bristol)
• The country is also being promoted as a honeymoon destination

attract more tourism like the Banksy Exhibition in City Museum

economic benefits in mind- Cobot Circus (contains shops,
auditorium, offices, cinemas, hotel and 250 apartments)
• The city is also using the opportunity of the Olympics 2012 and
designed a campaign around it
