Introduction:
The accurate placement of the implant is
critical to achieving a pleasing esthetic result, as
well as the correct alignment for withstanding
occlusal forces.
It is well documented that dental implants
placed using a surgical guide are more accurately
positioned than those placed without a guide.

An implant placement guide also allows for less
stressful surgery for the operator, knowing that the
critical placement factors were considered in the
fabrication of the guide.
It then becomes a matter of exposing and
preparing the osteotomy site and placing the
implant.
A stable and accurate surgical guide provides a
precise reference for implant placement.
