Today, you are well come at the airport in Ho Chi Minh city, also called Saigon. This is the largest city
in Vietnam and is the nation's economic capital. The metropolitan area Hồ Chí Minh City and
surrounding towns is populated by more than 9 million.
We take a short city tour to visit the must to see places in the city including the Reunification Palace,
War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. You will also admire the many beautiful French
colonial buildings such as the main post office and the former Hotel de Ville (city hall). If time permits,
we will also visit the bustling Cho Lon Market (Chinatown). This trip helps you view the city from
another perspective and to see the abundance of fresh local produce that is such an important feature
of Vietnamese cuisine.
Overnight at Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel (B)
Today, we will head out of town to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is an extensive underground
network of approximately 200 kilometers of tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and then expanded
by the Viet Cong. Here contains hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used
extensively for refuge and storage and also utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to
Saigon.
In the afternoon, you are free for shopping or exploring the city in your own way. Do ask our guide's
suggestion on where and what to do.
Overnight at Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be – Tra On (B/L/D)
The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: đồng bằng sông Cửu Long “Nine Dragon river delta”) is the region in
southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a
network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southeastern
Vietnam of 39,000 square kilometers. The size of the area covered by water depends on the season. A
cruise on the Mekong river is a great experience to watch the daily life of the locals.
8:00: Pick up at the hotel by shuttle bus for about 3 hour drive before boarding Le Cochinchine boat.
Enjoy welcome drink. We will then transfer to a local boat for an extensive visit of Cai Be: the floating
market, the mazes of waterway, local pop-rice and sweets production. And visit colonial buildings, old
houses, delightful flower gardens and local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers.
Le Cochinchine continues its cruise to Cochien. We will have lunch served on board. After lunch, we
will have a very interesting visit to local village on foot or by bicycle on the footpaths of the
countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities. Visit a cottage industry,
a local farm and sample seasonal fruits. Our boat cruises on the Mekong River while we are taking in
the beautiful scenery. Enjoy an aperitif over the sunset and have dinner on board.

Morning we take a short excursion by air to Da Lat - a beautiful town in the central highlands, which
was developed by the French colonialists as a health resort and hunting center, is a popular tourist
destination. Đà Lạt's specific sights are pine wood (forming the name: "City of thousands of pine
trees") with twisting roads and tree marigold blossom in the winter. This city has a unique temperate
weather in Vietnam's otherwise tropical climate. Mist covering the valleys almost year-round leads to
its name "City of eternal spring."
We spend this afternoon visiting Da Lat Cathedral and Central Market where we might be bewildered
with a riot of multi-colored flowers as well as various kinds of fresh vegetable and mouthwatering
fruits. We continue to Linh Son Pagoda, which was built in 1938 on a hill overlooking the centre of Da
Lat. The last place today is Minh Tam flower garden – the biggest flower garden in Da Lat.

international tourists, attracting large numbers travelers. Nha Trang is already very popular with
Vietnamese tourists and is widely considered as amongst the world's most beautiful bays. Tourists are

After breakfast we depart by flight for Hoi An. Upon arrival, we stop en route to visit the Cham
Museum in Da Nang. This structure is home to Vietnam's largest collection of Cham treasures.
Continue to the riverside town of Hoi An which was originally a Cham port town, but has been
influenced down the centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures. There is a distinctly
Chinese appearance with pagodas and assembly halls scattered along the small streets. Hoi An was
once a bustling port in centuries gone by, before the river silted up. We spend the rest time to visit
Hoian ancient town with all major interesting sites: Ong Pagoda, Hoi An Museum, Japanese Covered
Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Assembly Hall of Cantonese Chinese Congregation.
Overnight at the hotel, Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoian - My Son half day tour (B)
This tour is a must-see for those who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations. My Son
sanctuary was an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries.
We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a
valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious
ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national
heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South
East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been
destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. We also spend
time to visit a silk handicraft village along the Thu Bon River on the way back to Hoi An.
We enjoy a free afternoon to make the most of delightful Hoian and its surrounding areas. The market
is a good place to buy silk that can be made up into fine garments, all within a day. Close to town
locates the Cua Dai beach, which can be easily reached by bicycle, is an ideal place to swim and relax.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Hoian - Hue (B)
Hue is located in Thua Thien prefecture and is in the central part of Vietnam, 660 km from Ha Noi and
1080 km from Saigon. Many historical buildings are located in Hue, largely a legacy from its time as a
capital of the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945).
We depart Hoian in the morning and arrive Hue in the afternoon. The winding roads begin as we make
our way up the spectacular Hai Van Pass. At the top of the pass we stop to admire a fantastic view
north to Lang Co and south to Da Nang. We will visit the the beautiful riverside pagoda of Thien Mu,
which now becomes the symbol of Hue. And we see the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden
City. This royal residence was all but destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive; however it is still
fascinating to walk among the ruins. We will then visit the Minh Mang Tomb and Thien My Pagoda
before taking a walk to the bustling Dong Ba Market that sells a wide variety of local goods and
handicrafts. Along the way we pass many fantastic eating spots, all ideal for visitors to sample some
local delicacies.
Overnight at the hotel in Hue.
Day 11: Hue - Hanoi (B)
Hanoi is the second largest city of Vietnam with total population of over 6 million people. As the
capital of Vietnam for almost a thousand years, the enchanting Hanoi is considered to be one of
cultural centers of Vietnam, where most of Vietnamese dynasties had left behind their imprint. Even

Sa Pa is a quiet mountain town and home to a great diversity of ethnic minority peoples. Most of the
ethnic minority people work their land on sloping terraces since the vast majority of the land is
mountainous. Their staple foods are rice and corn. Rice, by its very nature of being a labour intensive
crop, makes the daily fight for survival paramount. The unique climate in Sapa has a major influence
on the ethnic minorities who live in the area. With sub-tropical summers, temperate winters and 160
days of mist annually, the influence on agricultural yields and health related issues are significant.
