- Today’s Use Case:Understanding Who is Visiting Your WebsiteHypothetical example:Bricks & Clicks Retail Store, who releases a new product in two test markets. Starts running paid ad campaigns to promote that product. Question: What city are the web visitors coming from? Which city is responding better to the ad campaign? Which city has web visitors that are more likely to buy?For this example, we’re going to use Tableau as our interface for this example. For your purposes, you would most likely develop a custom front end. We’re going to explore a quick and easy way to build and test a data processing workflow, used in the backend of applications. The code that we will write and test on your laptop will function exactly the same on any scale of data. Let me say that again. With this Starter Kit, the exact same data processing workflow you design and build on your laptop can be used to power a Big Data application on the Infochimps Enterprise Cloud.
