What I learned yesterday is how much your religion is
similar to Christianity. Honestly, I did think that Islamic
believers were way different than the person you are. I
always saw it as our religions would butt heads, but after
you talked about the Qur'an, it didn't seem so to me.

Look at the beautiful city, a city of dreams that, one day, you can rule a kingdom.
I feel the sand that our prophet Muhammad voyaged across to different lands
I see travelers struggling through whipping sand to find a new home
I smell the scent of a great feast that could go on for many days to come.
I hear the cheering of a great kingdom welcoming their king to his new home.

forever.

At closing statements, the speaker stated that everyone on
the panel is more similar than different and that we are all
brothers and sisters that ultimately have the same religious
goals. This opened my eyes and changed my perspective on
religion.


My views about Islam have changed in a positive way. And
