How to add a topic and subscribe to updates to your threads

1. First make sure that you’re signed
into the Communities of practice
website
Then sign into the conference which
you can find at -
http://bit.ly/LbySonline
To add a topic first click on “View on
all topics” in the Forum section

Type your
text here - if you
have a long piece
you might want to
do it in Word first
and copy and
paste it in

can be any kind of
word or descriptor
about your talk

5. A few tips
• During any live Q&A - you’ll have to keep
hitting refresh - unfortunately the forum doesn’t
auto-refresh (yep, annoying)
• Brief is better
• You can susbscribe to instant email alerts from
your own topic - so you always know when
someone’s added something new. It’s a little
complicated, but certainly worth it -

UNsubscribe
from email alerts

Once inside your
own thread, you
can subscribe to
immediate alerts
to your topic
thread.
Or do so inside
any other topics
you’re interested
in....
