INVITATION TO AN OPEN FORUM
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Re: BARKA FOUNDATION AFRICAN INITIATIVE: MEETING WITH THE
FOUNDERS.
The Merseyside Association of Ghanaians are honoured to host you on Saturday
26th May 2012 at JOB BANK, 4 TUNNEL ROAD, EDGE HILL, LIVERPOOL,
L7 6QD (at the corner of Tunnel Road, Wavertree Road and Durning Road
intersection traffic light, facing the side of Iceland). The time is from 11.00am till
2.00pm.
The BARKA FOUNDATION, Poland, and BARKA UK have been in talks with
some members of our Africa communities and Voluntary organisations in
Liverpool to start a social enterprise initiative in Africa, modelled on the Barka
Foundation projects.
This is a unique project, in that it is citizens-led international initiative that is in its
developmental stages, and we would like everyone to be involved in shaping it.
The Founders of BARKA have paid a twelve day Study Tour to Kenya, and they
are visiting Liverpool to meet Africa communities to share with us the vision and
their experience in Kenya.
It is my wish that as many people would be able to attend.
2. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Jonas Appiah-Ankam
Chairman
