3. Tagore was a Bengali polymath
philosopher, artist, playright, musician and novelist.
He became the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in
Literature in 1913.
Tagore introduced new prose, verse and the use of colloquial
language into Bengali literature.
He wrote poetry as an eight-year-old. At age sixteen, he released
his first poems under the pseudonym Bhānusiṃha.

English Nobel laureate Rudyard Kipling. The stories
