Android also bene ted with a 1.3 pt share gain and now represents 4.8% of global inventory.
Gains came at the expense of Nokia OS (-6.6 pts) and Symbian OS (-6.1 pts).

4. Apple gains 6.0 share points during the 90 day period to surpass SonyEricsson globally.
Samsung (+1.2 pts), LG (+.4 pts), and HTC (+.7 pts) all made advances mainly due to Android devices in the US and EU.
