Today, there are more than 100 interview questions that can determine your personality and technical
skills. These questions are designed specifically to help hiring managers and employers find the right
candidate for a job vacancy. However, in order to be successful in the job interview process it is not
necessary to learn all 100 questions and answers, but it is good to be familiar with some of the questions
so that you can answer with confidence when asked during the interview.

These 100 interview questions are designed to bring out at least 20 of your specific qualities. These
include but are not limited to your ability to take action, flexibility, and positive outlook, ability to work as
a team, loyalty, initiative, and creativity, along with a variety of other skills. In order to handle these
questions be mindful of the following:

   •   Improve your nonverbal skills. You can effectively handle most of the 100 interview questions if
       you practice good nonverbal communication. Good nonverbal communication includes standing
       confidently, making eye contact and giving a firm handshake.
   •    Enhance your appearance. Be sure to dress appropriately for the interview, remember to dress
       for success and you’ll definitely be confident while answering your interview questions.
   •   Use the appropriate language. You will be expected to answer professionally as well as
       confidently. If possible, try to avoid using slang terms or any inappropriate words that may raise
       issues. Be sure to keep an even tone and avoid sounding cocky or timid.
   •    Listen intently while the interviewer talks. Prepare yourself every time an interviewer asks a
       question. The best way to handle an interview question is to make sure you understand it so it is
       essential that you listen. In addition, this is a sign of respect to the interviewer to listen and not
       interrupt.

2. How did you find out about this job? b. What do you know about the job?

4 Why did you choose this particular career? b. Your major in college or tech school?
5. Why do you want to work here?
6. What interests you most about this position?
7. What is your personal mission statement?
8. Does your boss know you’re here today?
9. Are you a Type A, B or C personality?
10. What are your strengths?
11. What are your weaknesses?
12. What is your idea of a strong work ethic? b. Does it mean working long hours?
13. Tell me about a time that you went “above and beyond the call of duty” on the job.
14. How do you define success? Failure?
15. How do you define arrogance? Are you arrogant?
16. What are your goals for the next five years?
17. Why did you leave (or, are you leaving) your previous job?
18. What have you done to save your employer expenses and increase income?
19. What’s the most important thing you’ve learned in school? b. In work? c. In life?
20. What does leadership mean to you? b. How does one become a leader?
21. How is it evident that take pride in your work?
22. How good are your communication skills? b. Do you prefer oral or written communications?

  • 2. Today, there are more than 100 interview questions that can determine your personality and technical skills. These questions are designed specifically to help hiring managers and employers find the right candidate for a job vacancy. However, in order to be successful in the job interview process it is not necessary to learn all 100 questions and answers, but it is good to be familiar with some of the questions so that you can answer with confidence when asked during the interview. These 100 interview questions are designed to bring out at least 20 of your specific qualities. These include but are not limited to your ability to take action, flexibility, and positive outlook, ability to work as a team, loyalty, initiative, and creativity, along with a variety of other skills. In order to handle these questions be mindful of the following: • Improve your nonverbal skills. You can effectively handle most of the 100 interview questions if you practice good nonverbal communication. Good nonverbal communication includes standing confidently, making eye contact and giving a firm handshake. • Enhance your appearance. Be sure to dress appropriately for the interview, remember to dress for success and you’ll definitely be confident while answering your interview questions. • Use the appropriate language. You will be expected to answer professionally as well as confidently. If possible, try to avoid using slang terms or any inappropriate words that may raise issues. Be sure to keep an even tone and avoid sounding cocky or timid. • Listen intently while the interviewer talks. Prepare yourself every time an interviewer asks a question. The best way to handle an interview question is to make sure you understand it so it is essential that you listen.
