Mommy Needs A Time-Out!! you- this is the “time out” tip that I implemented this evening.
5 Tips To Help You Relax… And boy was it nice!! I ran a nice hot steamy bath, brought
my favorite body wash to cleanse my body with and I listened
| Lindsey Hill's Empower to music. Ahhhhhhh!! I was so relaxed when I got out of the
Network Blog tub that I almost drifted off to sleep. Then I remembered that
I wanted to right this blog for you all! LOL!!
Tip #3- Schedule a “mommy-day”- Now this “time out” will
take a little bit of planning and budgeting, but it definitely can
and should be done. Take a day to spend a few hours at the
mall, bookstore, or spa. Buy yourself something; whether it be
a new outfit, pair of shoes, a book that you have been wanting
to purchase or a relaxation service that you have been wanting
to receive. It is vital that you be okay with spending money on
yourself. I’m guilty of always putting myself last, but I have
made a decision to be okay with buying things for myself.
Tip #4- Within your daily routine, schedule 30 minutes of

Tip #1. Go for a nice walk- it’s amazing what a breath of fresh
air will do for you when you feel overwhelmed. To be able to Lindsey
inhale and exhale deeply is so refreshing. Also, if you’re in the
house most days, like I am, a change of scenery does a mommy
good. In addition to that, the exercise that goes along with a
nice brisk walk will get the blood flowing again and give you
the energy you need to return back home and resume your role
as a mommy.
