– Reasonable and limited portions
• Audiovisual and musical shown as clips only
• Applies to accredited nonprofit

• Copyrighted material whose owner can not
be found
• Books, music, record, films, etc
– Work not registered
– Sold rights, but did not register transfer
– Owner’s death, heirs not found
• Can be risky if owner emerges
