4. 1. INTRODUCTION
Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. has now completed the construction of the Aviation
Consolidation Project situated within the vicinity of Nakorn Sri Thammarat Commercial Airport. After
months of initial operation, the existing Counter Check-in, Meeting Room (G10) and Flight & Administration
facilities need to be modified to support operation requirements. There is also a need for new additional
office, meeting and workshop space.
As required for the Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) portion of this additional design work, DEC
has to: design a new Ramp Office outside of the building, new workshops and office room space on the
ground floor level, a new large meeting room and office space for the second floor, revise the Counter Check-
in and rearrange room nos. G09, G10 and G12 etc. Details of these items can be found below in the “SCOPE
OF WORK” section.
DEC has attached the site visit photos and perspective sketches of the main areas that have to be revised
and developed as per final additional work package. Also included in this report are the site layout plan,
budgetary report for construction and high level schedule. The budgetary is separated into two, itemized
groups, consisting of (1) work that can be started immediately and (2) work that needs a permit before
starting. Details of each work item in the budgetary are also broken down by work discipline.
