2. Linux Installation - Requirements
Requirements
Any GNU/Linux Distro CD or DVD
a CD or DVD drive, and the capability to boot from this drive
a 400 MHz processor or faster
at least 1 GB of memory (RAM)
at least 10 GB of permanent storage (hard drive) space

3. Let’s Start Installation
Power on the machine and insert the CD/ DVD
Reboot the system and set the primary boot device as CD /
DVD
When the system boots you will get a screen like

17. Installing Packages
At this point there is nothing left for you to do until all the
packages have been installed. How quickly this happens depends
on the number of packages you have selected and your computer’s
speed.
After installation completes, select Reboot to restart your
computer. Fedora ejects any loaded discs before the computer
reboots.

23. Your installation is complete
Fedora is now installed on your computer. Log in with the
username and password that you created during the installation
process.
